QUESTION TAGS
A question tag is known as question tail. Question tags are used in informal language. Question tags are short addition to sentences. We show Conclusion, Doubt, Certainty, Uncertainty etc. through Question Tags.
For example, in the sentence "You are Sameer, aren't you ?", the statement "You are Sameer" is turned into a question by the tag "aren't you".
structures:
do + not = don't                     
does + not = doesn't
did + not = didn't
am + not = aren't
is + not = isn't
are + not = aren't
has + not = hasn't
have + not = haven't
had + not =hadn't
was + not = wasn't
were + not = weren't
shall + not = shan't
will + not = won't
can + not = can't
should + not = shouldn't
would + not = wouldn't
could + not = couldn't
may + not = mayn't
might + not = mightn't
must + not = mustn't
ought + not = oughtn't
need + not = needn't
dare + not = daren't

  1. She is intelligent, isn't she ?
  2. She is not intelligent, is she ?
  3. You can go on foot, can't you ?
  4. You can't go on foot, can you ?
