DETERMINERS

A determiner is a word that is used before a noun to show how the noun is being used.

OR

A determiner is a word that is used before a noun to show how great an effect the noun has.

OR

A determiner is a word that is used before a noun to limit its meaning.

IMPORTANT DETERMINERS

(a) Articles: A, An and The

(b) Possessive Adjectives: My, Your, Our, His, Her, Its, Their

(c) Demonstrative Adjectives: This, That, These, Those

(d) Distributive Adjectives: Each, Every, Either, Neither, Both

(e) Adjectives of Quantity: All, Any, Enough, Little, Less, Much, More, Most, No, A good deal of, A great deal of, A large amount of, A lot of, Lots of, Plenty of, A piece of, A part of, A spoonful of, A pint of, A loaf of, A slice of, Half of, A kilo of, A glass of.
(f) Adjectives of Number: All, Any, Both, Enough, Each, Every, Either, Neither, Few, Fewer, Many, More, Most, Several, Some, No, One, Two, Three....., First, Second, Third....., Double, Twice, Thrice........, One-third, A lot of, Lots of, Plenty of, Half of, A number of, A large number of.

(B) Regular / Central determiners: A, An, The, This, That, These, Those, My, Your, His, Our Mohan's, Some, Any, No, Every, Enough, Each etc.

(C) Post-determiners: One, Two, Three....., First, Second, Third....., Next, Last, Other, More, Many, Some, Several, Few, Little etc.
